We are currently seeking a Senior NPDES Permit Compliance Program Manager for our Glendora Office.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple MS4 Permit Programs
Support clients in negotiating permit requirements and meeting with regulators
Prepare documentation for NPDES permits, Annual Reports, and waste discharge requirements
Interpret and disseminate information on new regulations related to the NPDES activities to clients and team members, and assist with implementation
Lead NPDES programs and provide input on Minimum Control Measures
Oversee and lead stormwater and outfall monitoring teams
Prepare applications and presentations related to grant funding applications
Assist with Business Development, Client Outreach, and Marketing activities
Review and assist with client administration and maintenance activities
Required Qualifications:
At least ten years of experience in the water quality field and program administration experience related to NPDES permit compliance, data management, and stormwater water quality control
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Geological Engineering, or other related science degree and background
Experience with and successful management of program and contract budgets and schedules
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations pertaining to NPDES Programs (CGP, IGP, MS4 permit knowledge)
Experience with, and strong ability to, collaborate with others
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced team members
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with stormwater/pollutant modeling
Professional Registrations: PE, PG, RLA, etc.
Certifications (or ability to obtain): CPESC, CPSWQ, QISP, QSP/D
Experience performing work related to wastewater management
