Kim Boydstun

Senior Biologist

I’ve always been fascinated by science and the natural environment.  Having spent the majority of my life enjoying the outdoors I was searching for a career that paired this interest with continued learning.  My first semester at college I had an amazing ecology professor that introduced me to biostatistics, experimental design and controls, environmental policy, and environmental consulting.  What I appreciate the most about my position as a senior biologist at Casc is the opportunity to learn about biological elements and associations with each project and the interaction with other like-minded professionals.  This provides a constant draw to the discipline. I’ve especially enjoyed working with the engineers at Casc and being present during the design phase of a project.  Being consulted on what resources to avoid and the constraints associated with development has allowed for us to be more effective as a team thus avoiding delays in project approvals.
